Meet Director: Charlie S
Course Setter: Charlie S

Schedule:
12:30 Registration and Start
2:30p.m. Courses close

Cost: FREE!

Update: There's not much snow, so please plan on showshoe or foot orienteering. The course is of intermediate/beginner level difficulty. Please watch out for icy spots on the course!

Details:

Depending on the weather, it will be a Ski, Snow Shoe, or FOOT Orienteering (dog friendly) on Sunday afternoon between 12:30 and 2:30pm. This is a brand new CAOC map and the course will be FREE!

Some snow is expected Thursday. Check back here on or on our Facebook page for the latest updates.

If the ski race taking place at 9am does not go, I would suggest doing the course on Snowshoes to make it more challenging. Foot O will be allowed, but the course will not be as technically challenging on foot. Great for intermediate and beginner orienteering.

Bring you own compasses, map bags, pins, skis or snowshoes. Old school pin punch will be used.

No advanced registration required.

Directions:
Take I-94 north from Chicago towards Milwaukee. Between Kenosha and Racine, take exit 339 for County Highway E/12th Street/Somers Road. Turn right on Somers Road and take it east about 2.5 miles to County JR / Petrifying Springs Road. Turn left on JR and take it for about 0.25 miles to the parking lot on your right (north side).
