We will be offering the standard courses - white and yellow
for beginners - orange for intermediate - red and green for advanced
orienteerers. E-Punch will be used on all the courses. You can bring
your own ePunch stick or borrow one of ours.
On-line registration is open until
Monday Aug 20 thru Thursday September 6th.
Directions:
Take Route 53 north of I-90 for 6 miles. Exit on Dundee Road, turn
left, and go west 3 miles to Quentin Road. Turn right and go north
0.5 mile. Turn left into the forest preserve. Turn right at the
first intersection and follow the road all the way to shelter #5.
Public Transportation:
Bring your bike on Metra! A Metra train arrives at the Palatine
station on Sundays at 11:24 a.m. from the Ogilvie Transportation
Center in Chicago. From there you ride or walk north on Smith Street,
past a 19th century cemetery, to the bike path which will lead you
directly into the forest preserve and registration just prior to
the noontime cut-off (2 miles from station).
