Thanks for Your Help

The Board would like to thank all who have paid their fees for the Spring meets. While we are disappointed that some have not yet sent in their money, we are happy to report that we have received almost 90% from CAOC members.

It was an adventure sorting through all the envelopes received... trying to match some very creative team names with checks. While I learned the identity of many, a few will forever remain a mystery to me. Many had notes, one to "Dear Finance Person," which thanked us for a wonderful time, great courses and an exciting introduction to Orienteering. We received some donations—thank you very much. $20 was given to us from a grateful adventure racer whose lost cycling shoe had been found and returned. One check was written to Palos North directly—the bank seems to have accepted it. And, cash was sent through the mail (tsk, tsk)—some unidentified—I hope I received all that was sent. Thank you all.
